Whether you are rating an Uber driver or a great spot for lunch on Yelp, or you are giving a product some needed feedback, reviews are an incredible tool for sharing your experience with other people. Customers and business partners are going to want social proof that you are a reputable and trustworthy agent, and googling your name should reveal some excellent results.

If one of your goals for 2020 is to change the way people are leaving you reviews, it’s important to ask yourself where you would like this feedback the most. For many people, it’s Zillow, Trulia, Google, SocialSurvey and Facebook. Of course, you can always share these comments across your social media channels and your website (don’t forget to cite the source!) for your sphere to see.

Asking for reviews is the obvious hurdle, but a text to your buyers with a direct link to your review site of choice is very helpful. It’s also good to assist people with some prompts on giving you feedback, since most folks are probably not sure what to say.

Think about sending over a text kind of like this: “Hi! Thank you again for allowing me to be your agent. I could not be happier to have met you and been part of this special time in your life. Would you mind clicking the link I have included here and leaving some feedback about how happy you were with your experience? Doing this will allow me to meet other awesome people like you in the future and help them with their home. I would appreciate it!”
